About Klub KevThe term Klub Kev was coined by my friend Ack many years ago when he was regularly visiting Pittsburgh and staying in my spare bedroom. I liked it and started using it to refer to both my house and to my home's computer network. Here at Klub Kev we offer all of the usual conveniences: high speed network connectivity (including both 802.11a and 802.11b wireless networks), two dogs who are happy to play with you, co-locating facilities including remote serial console access, wacky board games, and satellite TV. At our new site we also offer a swimming pool and a fully stocked bar. So come on by and visit. Klub Kev events are all listed on the web page, but feel free to give a call anytime if you want a good drink or fast Internet access. |

Klub Kev on SeaveyAddress: I moved into my current house in November, 2003. The house is situated on a 3 acre plot in Shaler Township. It has five bedrooms, an indoor pool, and a huge living room. The living room (the "Great Hall") consists of three A-frame house kits end-to-end. It's a 25'x60' room; the ceiling is 24' at the peak. At one end I have a full bar with (of course) a beer tap. Heat is provided by a central fireplace. In the basement is the Klub Kev Datacenter. The klubkev.org server (which also serves kevinsphotos.org) is there, as well as a backup server for Ack's ack.org. Transit is provided by a Telerama DSL line. |
